Supporting your existing priorities

Be You can support your existing priorities, requirements and efforts related to promoting children and young people’s mental health

National priorities

Be You offers Professional Learning that can support your learning community address these national education priorities and requirements.

Accreditation and endorsement

Completion of Be You Professional Learning modules counts towards teacher identified professional learning Australia-wide.

Be You provides teachers with approximately 14 hours of free TQI (Teacher Quality Institute) and NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) accredited professional learning addressing standards of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

To be recognised for the modules you complete, you need to ensure you have added your teacher registration number and state or territory to the My Profile page in your Be You account.

National Quality Standard

The National Quality Standard (NQS) sets a high national benchmark for early childhood education and care and school age care services in Australia. For a full overview of how the Be You Professional Learning addresses the standards set out in the NQS download:

Australian Curriculum

By completing the Be You Professional Learning modules, and embedding your learnings into daily practice, you can support student learning in many areas of the Australian Curriculum. To learn more download:

Australian Professional Standard for Principals

By completing the Be You Professional Learning modules, and embedding your learnings in a leadership capacity, you can address many of the standards set out in the APSP. To learn more download:

Australian Professional Standard for Teachers

Each Be You Professional Learning module links to the knowledge and practice required for the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. It assumes educators will apply this knowledge in their teaching practice. To learn more download:

Australian Student Wellbeing Framework

The Australian Student Wellbeing Framework provides a vision, key elements, guiding principles and effective practices to support the whole school community to build and maintain safety, positive relationships and wellbeing. The Framework and supporting resources are available on the Student Wellbeing Hub website.

Each Be You Professional Learning module addresses core principles of the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework. To learn more download:

Early Years Learning Framework

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is a key component of the National Quality Framework for early learning services in Australia. Its purpose is to enhance children’s learning and wellbeing as well as guiding educators to reflect on their practice. Embedding your learning from the Be You Professional Learnings modules into your daily practice can demonstrate Principles, guide Practices and achieve Outcomes outlined in the EYLF. My Time Our Place

For school age care services across Australia, the My Time Our Place Framework is a key component of the National Quality Framework. Educators work in partnership with children, their families and communities to focus on participation in leisure and play based activities that extend and enrich children’s wellbeing, learning, development and citizenship. By completing the Be You Professional Learning modules, and embedding your learnings into daily practice your school age care setting can inform the elements of the My Time Our Place Framework.
