Beyond Blue
Beyond Blue was appointed by the Australian Government to lead the Be You initiative in 2017.
As the lead organisation, Beyond Blue provides national leadership in mental health and prevention, in addition to strategic direction, system-level advocacy, and trusted credibility.
To bring Be You to life in learning communities, Beyond Blue partners with two sector-leading delivery organisations: Early Childhood Australia and headspace. Through these partnerships, educators gain access to expert Be You Consultant support and a consistent approach to promoting mental health from birth to age 18.
Early Childhood Australia (ECA)
Early Childhood Australia’s Consultants apply a national approach to implementation support and recruitment.
Regardless of their geographic location, Consultants work with registered Be You early learning services and schools located throughout Australia. Consultants also promote, recruit and connect Be You early learning services and schools across the nation.
headspace
headspace's team of Consultants work with primary and secondary schools across Australia.
Each of the eight state and territory teams work directly with Australian schools to embrace and adopt the Be You initiative.
They develop and use a range of strategies nationally and regionally that allow the teams to build quality relationships with schools and stakeholders.
headspace also supports secondary schools to prepare for, respond to and recover together where there has been a death by suicide.
Be You Consultants
Be You Consultants from ECA and headspace connect with and support registered early learning services and schools to guide their mental health and wellbeing journey.
