Aims
The P.E.A.C.E. Pack: A program for reduciing bullying in our schools is a school- and classroom-based intervention program addressing bullying and promoting wellbeing. Specifically the aims of the intervention program are to: 1. Provide teachers and wellbeing coordinators with lesson content and curriculum resources to address the issue of bullying in the school and classroom 2. Provide associated lesson content and curriculum to promote student wellbeing 3. Promote a whole-school approach to addressing school bullying and promoting student wellbeing 4. Provide teachers with resources associated with the Student Wellbeing Hub, Be You and Bullying No Way.Program theory
The P.E.A.C.E Pack aligns with the general capabilities in the Australian National Curriculum. Content to promote student wellbeing aligns with CASEL's five competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making.Topics
The pack covers topics including bullying (physical and cyber bullying), wellbeing, emotions, ethical understanding, friendships, resilience, intercultural understanding, coping with cyber bullying, self-concept, critical and creative thinking, positive relationships and optimism.Cost
