Growing a mentally healthy generation

Be You is the national mental health in education initiative delivered by Beyond Blue, in collaboration with Early Childhood Australia and headspace. Be You supports educators from early learning services and schools to develop a positive, inclusive and resilient learning community where every child, young person, educator and family can achieve their best possible mental health.

Who is Be You for?

Be You is for all educators and learning communities who work with children and young people in early learning, primary and secondary school settings across Australia. This includes those studying education in both the university and Vocational Education and Training sectors and educators in School Age Care settings.

If you're an educator or learning community member who is committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people from birth to 18 years, you're in the right place.

1. Register with Be You as an individual

Be You is free and for all Australian educators across early learning, primary and secondary school settings.

2. Appoint Action Team Leaders             

Appoint Action Team Leaders and ensure they are registered as individuals. This tells us which school or service they are from.

3. Sign up your learning community

Once signed up, the Action Team Leaders can log in and register their school or service as a Be You Learning Community.

4. Get support from a Be You Consultant

After registering as a Be You Learning Community, schools and services will be assigned a designated Be You Consultant.
