Aims
Freeing Freddie the Dream Weaver aims to develop children's skills to help them recognise, embrace and normalise their emotions and be more self-aware, improve self-management, enhance social awareness, identify and release fear and anxiety, and feel the power of gratitude, compassion, empathy and develop executive functioning skills.Program theory
The Free the Mind Co materials were developed to support a constructivist pedagogy with active learner engagement and support the development of creative and responsible critical thinkers.Topics
The program covers the following topics: Self-awareness; self-regulation; responsible decision-making; relationship skills and social awareness; normalising emotions; understanding and releasing fear and anxiety; understanding and embracing empathy, compassion and kindness; building dreams and developing plans to create them - critical thinking with executive functioning skills.Cost
Program structure
The Free the Mind Co content can be used as a complete SEL or wellbeing program in and out of school or as a complementary resource for existing programs. The materials are organised for 4 to 8 years and 9 to 12 years and are a mix of online, offline and hybrid modes that guide the learner through sequential and developmental learning experiences.Instructor
