Aims
Life Skills Go is an interactive blended learning online solution for teachers and students across Australia and New Zealand to develop and measure the social, emotional and physical learning skills of primary school children aged 5 to 12 years. The program aims to improve school wellbeing and academic results, increase resilience, self-regulation and problem-solving skills, foster growth mindsets, build self-awareness and emotional intelligence, and establish positive-relationship skills. Life Skills Go provides guided activities, lesson materials, animations and assessments.Program theory
The learning content of Life Skills Go draws on the core competencies established by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL), OECD, and the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) in their social emotional learning frameworks. The programs also incorporates mindfulness science and positive psychology principles. It is aligned to the Australian Curriculum.Topics
All lessons are stage-based. The Life Skills Go online learning platform works on 6 areas of a child's development. These are self-awareness, self-management, physical awareness, social awareness, positive relationships and wise decisions.Cost
