Wellbeing tools for educators

Wellbeing encompasses the health of the whole person – physical, mental, social and emotional. As an educator, it’s important to be aware of your own needs and to seek additional support when you need it.

Our wellbeing can change moment to moment, day to day, year to year, and can be influenced by what’s happening in a specific moment and the actions that we take.

Your wellbeing is important. It affects your health, outlook, personal life and how you build relationships with children, young people, families and colleagues. Looking after your wellbeing also puts you in a better position to support others in your care.

Be You has a range of resources you can use to support your mental health and wellbeing. There are also lots of other resources that can offer guidance and practical strategies for educators.

You may also find these tools useful to pass on to your colleagues.
