  • How do I access Be You Professional Learning?

    Be You Professional Learning consists of 16 content modules grouped under five domains, with content centred around mentally healthy learning communities. The modules can be accessed on the Be You website at https://beyou.edu.au/learn.

    Educators will need to register for Be You to access the Professional Learning.

    Once you’ve signed up, your dashboard gives you full access to the modules and allows you to track your progress.

  • What are the Be You Professional Learning modules?

    At the heart of Be You is a framework that provides educators and leaders with a structure for professional learning. This includes actions early learning services and schools can take to implement a whole learning community approach to children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

    Be You Professional Learning consists of 16 content modules grouped under five domains, with content centred around mentally healthy learning communities. Once an educator has signed up to Be You, they can access the modules and track their progress via their dashboard.
  • How are the enhanced modules different?

    Be You Professional Learning modules have been extensively reviewed. Enhancements include:

    • Alignment of all modules to a consistent structure
    • Each module is now a unique learning experience
    • Reframed learning outcomes to include the importance and broader context of the learner’s knowledge
    • Content moved between modules to create a more consistent and relevant flow of information
    • An improved learner experience for all modules
    • Additional conventions established to help guide the learner
    • Enhanced reflection questions and suggested activities to help educators consider and apply learning in their context and collaborate with their colleagues.
  • Can I access previous versions of modules?

    Educators are no longer able to access previous versions of modules. However, the enhanced modules use the same content in a more accessible, relevant, learner-friendly format.
  • Can I access notes recorded using the Notepad feature within previous versions of the modules?

    No. The enhanced modules have a new structure and previous notepad entries are no longer accessible.
  • What happens if I was partway through a module?

    Now that the enhanced modules are live, educators who were partway through any modules will need to restart the modules in order to complete them.
  • Can I access my certificate for modules I have already completed?

    Yes. Educators are still able to access certificates for any modules they have previously completed. These can be accessed and downloaded from your Report Card. Scroll down to the bottom of the Report Card page to view your certificates.

    You can also access your certificates at the bottom of each domain page.

  • Can the enhanced modules be used towards my professional development requirements as a teacher?

    Be You Professional Learning meets the requirements for teacher-identified professional learning across all states and territories.

    For more details about TQI (ACT) or NESA (NSW), please see the FAQs titled 'Are the enhanced modules accredited with TQI?' and 'Are the enhanced modules accredited with NESA?'

    For all other states and territories, please seek advice directly from the relevant associations for your area.
  • Are the enhanced modules accredited with TQI?

    Be You Professional Learning meets the requirements for teacher-identified professional learning across all states and territories.

    In the ACT, each module will continue to contribute to TQI-accredited professional development hours.

  • Are the enhanced modules accredited with NESA?

    Be You Professional Learning meets the requirements for teacher-identified professional learning across all states and territories. 

    In NSW, each module will contribute to NESA-accredited professional development hours.

    Accredited hours cannot be given for individual modules completed before the enhanced modules were launched.

  • Can I gain NESA or TQI accredited hours for the enhanced modules if I have already completed the previous versions?

    Yes. The enhanced modules are recorded as new completions and contribute to NESA and TQI accredited professional development hours.

    For educators in the ACT, module completion by all users is uploaded weekly to the TQI portal.

    For educators in NSW, module completion by all users is uploaded to the NESA portal monthly, within the first six business days of the month.
