    Detailed description

    The Happy, Kind and Healthy Mind program is a Wellbeing program for grades 4-12, aims to create happier, kinder, more resilient youth, to help decrease bullying, depression, anxiety, & youth suicide. Through fun and educational activities, the program aims to provide students with a range of skills and strategies to become self-empowered and more motivated to set and reach goals. In doing so, the overall objective is to help to decrease the rate of bullying, depression, anxiety, and suicide within today's youth. The activities are designed to build self-esteem, confidence, resilience, and compassion. Students will also learn valuable coping skills and strategies that will help them cope with everyday stressors.

    Program structure & method delivery

    The program is designed to be delivered over three (3) full days, however it can also be delivered over six (6) half (½) days. Full days = 1 day per week over 3 weeks Half days = 1/2 day per week over 6 weeks. Learning material is supplied to the teachers, which they can then deliver to their classes. This is a training package consisting of: - A facilitators manual - A resource book - Digital resource with video presentations Or: - Face-to-face teacher training (with the above materials) is also available upon request.
